Our Community
At Little Learners, we believe that strong community connections enrich every child’s learning journey. We work closely with a wide range of organisations to provide our enrichment program through meaningful, mutually beneficial partnerships.
These relationships allow us to deliver a diverse array of authentic, inclusive, and ongoing learning experiences for our children. By collaborating with experts and community groups, we ensure our projects are informed, age appropriate and fun.
Our community partnerships cover a broad spectrum of topics, including nutrition, nature-based play, life skills, school readiness, water and sun safety, child safety, Aboriginal culture, social engagement and much more.
This approach gives children real-world experiences and helps them develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
Get to Know Our Community Partnerships
We are proud to partner with organisations that bring valuable experiences and life skills to our children and families.
One of our most cherished partnerships is with Royal Life Saving, who help us make water safety both fun and memorable.
While water play should be a source of joy, we recognise that water safety is vital – especially as drowning remains the leading cause of preventable death in children aged 0 to 4 years in Australia. The good news is that simple steps and early education can make a world of difference.
Each year, we welcome Dippy Duck from Royal Life Saving to our centre. Through engaging stories and interactive sessions, Dippy Duck teaches our children essential water safety skills.
These lessons not only empower our little learners but also provide families with practical knowledge to keep everyone safe around water.
By understanding potential risks and the importance of active supervision, we can all work together to ensure our children enjoy water safely and confidently.

St John Ambulance WA
Each year, St John Ambulance WA visits our centre to provide free, on-site first aid training for our 3 – 6 year-olds. These sessions introduce young children to basic first aid concepts in a fun and engaging way.
With the help of a storybook and Kura the Bear, children learn how to recognise an emergency, what number to call and who can help when something goes wrong.
The experience is made even more memorable with a special tour of the ambulance, giving children a hands-on look at the people and equipment that help keep us safe.
Daycare Dental
Building Healthy Smiles Early
Good oral health starts earlier than many people realise—often before a child even enters kindergarten. Daycare dental programs play an important role in introducing young children to healthy dental habits in a comfortable, familiar environment. By bringing dental education and screenings directly into daycare settings, children can learn about brushing, diet, and caring for their teeth in a fun and stress-free way.
These early experiences help reduce dental anxiety and encourage positive routines that can last a lifetime. Simple lessons about healthy foods, proper brushing techniques, and regular checkups empower children to take pride in their smiles while helping parents and caregivers feel confident about their child’s oral health.
We are proud to support the children at Little Learners and grateful for our strong partnership with their wonderful team. Daycare Dental attends the centre twice a year to provide dental sessions which include dental educational sessions, exams, and cleans. We encourage families to keep an eye out when the centre advertises these visits so they can enrol their children. Working together, we can promote healthy habits early and help every child grow with a bright, confident smile.
